Thank you to Wildberry Farm & Market for hosting me in the Author Tent today at their lovely farm in Crownsville! If you haven’t visited yet, put it on your list. They have events coming up that are listed on their website. It was so much fun to meet new people, chat about books and Dickens and writing, and greet dear friends who stopped by. I always say this is the most fun aspect of authorhood—getting out in the community and meeting folks. I just love it! (And a big THANK YOU to my husband, who is my right hand supporter, and who doesn’t mind getting in his Scrooge costume with me.)
Wildberry Farm + Market, Crownsville, MDTo that end, here are the events we have scheduled as we move into the holidays:
The week before Thanksgiving, on Saturday, December 23, I’ll have a booth at St. John the Evangelist on Ritchie Highway from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. for their annual Advent Market Celebration. They’ll have Advent wreaths, handmade crafts and artisan vendors, live music and caroling, food trucks, kids’ crafts, petting zoo, pony rides, and Santa! I’ll have all my books and my newest Prayer Journal that I wrote over the summer.
Two weeks later, I’ll be at my favorite local bookstore PARK BOOKS & LITLAB on Sunday, December 1 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. We’ll have all the books on hand, and I’ll be in my Dickens costume, of course. It’s the holidays!
My last event will take place with my senior friends over at Brightview in Severna Park! The sweet folks over there have read two of my books for their Book Club, so I am returning the favor by just going over and spending time with the ladies of the club. It will be Dickens-inspired (because why not?) and we’ll do a craft, too. Can’t wait for that.
If you or your Book Club is interested in reading any of my books, I’m available to attend your Book Club, whether it’s in person or via a virtual meeting if you are not in Maryland. I’m happy to attend, and would love to meet you and the readers in your Book Club!
Thanks for all the support, especially to those who visit us when we are out and about in the community. I couldn’t do it without you all. You truly inspire me to keep writing.
xx,
