DC Editor Adam Scott-Goulding writes…
Monday is ALMOST mute here on The Daily Constitutional. I always launch the week with a few London photos, grouped on a theme or neighbourhood.
This week: A visit to Westminster City Hall last Monday evening to collect my Westminster Guide Lecturers Association badge – I was very chuffed to pass the course with distinction.
Congratulations to all my new pals who graduated as Westminster Guides in 2018/19.
Here I am getting my badge from the Lord Mayor of Westminster…
Here's the paperwork & the metalwork up close…
And here are a few shots from Westminster City Hall. Not a bad view…
The ceremony took place on Canada Day, and so I wore my Maple Leaf cufflinks…
The cuff links are no stranger to ceremonial nights out in #Westminster - they belonged to my late father-in-law Terence Pierce-Goulding and he would have worn them to countless Commonwealth Press Union functions, as well as to The Palace.
The Monday Photoblog will return next week. In the meantime, if you'd like to share a London photo with me, please do! Perhaps you joined me on a tour and snapped a great shot. Drop me a line.
