Mastered by Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub, The Love-Birds’ ‘Angela’ has a timeless feel from its very first burst of guitar. Clocking in at just over 2 and a half minutes, it will appeal to fans of The Replacements, The Wave Pictures and perhaps Jeffery Lewis.
The latest band to show there’s clearly something special in the water of San Francisco Bay, the song wraps up dual vocals, tambourine and a whole load of ‘ba, ba, bas’ in one marvelous melody. It will feature on The Love-Birds’ debut album ‘In the Lover’s Corner’, which comes out on 25 May via Trouble in Mind Records.
