Here is the story of a beautiful satin jacket that just had to be mine. ;) I am a long-time user of Trunk Club Chicago, and my stylist Monica (hey girl hey!) always hooks me up with the best options. She recently sent me this jacket and it was too big on me, but the print had me swooning so hard. I'm on a super tight budget and went back and forth on if I would really get a lot of wear out of this one. I did post photos (shopable ones on my IG stories) of myself trying it on and the feedback was "yes, you need this in your life"! Plus, thanks to you guys, enough of you also purchased your own using my links, I was able to rationalize spending the remainder. So, I asked Monica if she could find this beauty in a smaller size and within days it was sent to my house ready to stay with me for the unforeseeable future. I am so in love! Also, thank you to everyone who shops using my links!! It is literally because of you that I was able to get this satin jacket, so thank you very much for the bottom of my heart.

This entire outfit give me all the feels. I love the print mixing and the colors just make me happy in general. I love the long jacket and can see myself laying with it a lot this season and in years to come. Fun side note, this top belonged to my grandma. She passed away almost eight years ago now, and this past Spring my grandpa gave me some of her clothing. This top is one of my favorites and it brings me such joy to wear it. I'm not sure where it is from as the tag was removed (more on that in another post), but it is a sleeveless turtleneck and we all need a few of these in our lives. It's truly a great layering piece. My grandmother had the best style ever, she was always dressed to the 9's and took real pride in her appearance....maybe that's where I get it from. Not a day goes by I don't miss her or think of her...or think of how much she would have loved meeting my daughter she never got to know I had. But I digress.... Bottom line, I love this outfit even more because she is with me even more on the days I wear her clothing!
