Verdict on The Lonely Man With the Ghost Machine
The Lonely Man With the Ghost Machine is a horror thriller that follows the last man on Earth who is dealing with loneliness. It shows his life, alone trying to contact the spirits of his loved ones. However, a stranger makes his life more difficult and leaves him questioning his place on Earth.
This movie takes us on a journey that deals with loneliness and dealing with life with nobody around. While it uses the catastrophic event to create this, it shows that people might survive and would be left alone. It creates a sense of dread of knowing they have decades alone, while a potential threat is waiting for them. The movie creates a sense of something else going on and grabs our attention as we wait to see what could happen. Graham Skipper is brilliant in the leading role, as the movie relies on his performance to shine.
Final Thoughts – The Lonely Man With the Ghost Machine is an excellent glimpse into isolation, loneliness and dread.
