The List

I learn something new every day.  Apparently, every single girl has a list of what they want in a man.  I have been forced to make a list for a potential husband.  I decided to do nonnegotiable points only, and I have put them in order from most important to least.
Nonnegotiable:  Emotionally AvailableChristian GentlemanLikes/Wants Kids (He can't want them but not like them)Understands and Encourages My AmbitionKills Roaches Without Complaint or HESITATIONLikes Travel and Nature
Why isn't Christian first?  You have to be emotionally available to let God in, much less another human being.  Is the roach part necessary?  Yes.  Don't judge me.
This is an ideal list.  Marriage is not something I plan to pursue again, so I can let go of things on the list that would be considered long term.  The only thing that is vital is for the man to be emotionally available to a relationship.  I don't want to be anyone's mom, I want to be an equal partner.  
Life is a long and winding journey.  The weather is unpredictable and the road can, at times, be difficult to see.  Yet, life is too short to take the journey with someone unworthy.  If it's just the same to everyone, I'll handle this new part solo.
