Verdict on The Life List

Recap

The movie follows a woman whose life is turned upside down by the death of her mother. She is left a series of tasks to complete to receive her part of the will. However, it means challenging herself to chase her former dreams and become a success in life.

Best Parts

The movie pushes us to learn to make the most of our lives and follow our dreams. It shows how easily people can settle and not push for more, and most importantly, the risks required are not expected to be difficult either. The performances are charming for the movie without being anything outside of the normal.

Worst Parts

The one side I would question is why a stable, secure job is considered flawed. Sure, people want more for their loved ones, but stability isn’t a bad thing. This drags this into the typical dream scenario meet and great with someone successful to have the best life.

Final ThoughtsThe Life List has some good life lessons but falls into the traditional rom-com flaws.
