Patti Labelle, and Jennifer Holliday were on hand Tuesday night to honor the late Luther Vandross at the Lincoln Center.
Vandross was honored at the Center’s first Winter Gala at Alice Tully Hall in New York.

The event was also a fundraiser to support the thousands of events, performances, tours, and educational activities that the Lincoln Center presents each year.
The gala raised $2.6 million
Luther Vandross hit ballad “If This World Were Mine” with Cheryl Lynn was a part of former First Lady Michelle Obama, Valentine’s playlist to former President Barack Obama.
