The Lab Apes of Liberia

Chimps used in animal testing since 1974, has been released in the wild. Because of all the infectious diseases they were injected with, they were sent to an island to live out the rest of their days. The island only known as Monkey Island seems like a dangerous place at first glance where the chimps can’t wait to get their hands on you for some experimentation. This is an incredible story of the history of Vilab and the staff, surviving two civil wars but not the animal rights activists. Do not watch if you are very sensitive. Spoiler: The ending is good, I promise.
