Verdict on The Killer’s Game
Recap
The movie follows a hitman who decides to put a hit on himself after he learns he has a terminal illness. However, minutes before it starts, he learns that there has been a mix-up and he must fight off the deadliest assassins from around the world.
Best Parts
The action blends a mix of styles which Joe must adjust to per enemy he faces. It helps with the flow of the chaos and the number of assassins he must take on. This might not be as slick as other assassin-driven movies, but it lets the colourful characters have a moment to come to life before each fight. Each performer gets a big chance to shine, and we end up with a fun action thriller.
Worst Parts
Some of the comedy feels overly forced and doesn’t click the way it wants to.
Final Thoughts –The Killer’s Game is a great fun, late-night action movie.
