Verdict on The Killer
Recap
The movie follows an assassin who doesn’t complete a requested job. She decides to save an innocent crew member, which leads to her handlers coming after her. Meanwhile, a cop discovers the crime ring and looks to stop them before it is too late.
Best Parts
The best parts of the movie come from the action sequences, they create wild effects which only John Woo brings to us. Nathalie Emmanuel is great in the leading role, with Omar Sy providing an excellent supporting role.
Worst Parts
The story doesn’t bring too much original to the table, and it does feel like it is longer than needs to be. Elsewhere, it never feels like there is a big enough threat.
Final Thoughts –The Killer is late-night action 101.
