The Key To Developing Mental Toughness On The Court

By Jen Campbell @TennisLife_Mag

Mental toughness....this is very difficult to teach. Some people are naturally tough, some aren't. My theory is that players who are naturally mentally tough are generally confident people off the court, too. Confidence is something you can't buy, but you can learn. You just have to work on it, constantly.

One of the best ways to become a more confident player is to always practice your weaknesses in clinic and in friendlies. Before you know it, you'll have more resources to draw from in a match.

Remember play to your strength, practice your weaknesses and you will become mentally strong!

As always, my goal is to give all of you the tips and tools you need to be the best tennis players you can be. If you have any questions about rules, or situations that happened to you, please tell me about it in the comments section below and I'll address it in a future video! Also, be sure and share my posts with your tennis friends, and connect with me on and Youtube! I also have 2 new accounts so be sure and follow these as well: and .
