one cnn pundit suggested sony should air the movie on line, at a charge, on christmas day. so americans could see it safely at home. i like this. people could watch for fun, and/or as an act of defiance and patriotism! sony could recoup money, and it could be a national holiday event. maybe they could rerelease every year for christmas and turn it into a  holiday tradition.
but, according to sony, the movie is such a hot potato no online venue is willing to pick it up, apparently for fear of being hacked themselves.
