The Infamous QuakeCon Event is All Set to Debut Quake II Remaster!

Gamers are going head over heels after rumours have circulated that QuakeCon, an event dedicated to the video game series. Quake is going to debut Quake II, a remastered sequel series of Quake in its event. Meanwhile, the event is set to organize as an in-person gathering on August 10, 2023. Additionally, the awaited remastered sequel of Quake will be made available on every streaming platform including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox series X/S, and Nintendo Launch.

Sources say that Quake’s remaster version is likely to be similar to the updated version of the original Quake game. Meanwhile, in 2021, Quake’s renewed version gave gamers access to improved graphics. Not only this, Quake Remaster served HD visuals, renovated character models, and contemporary visual effects like dynamic lighting. Quake remaster also gave access to a brand-new campaign that was known to be developed by another game developer, MachineGames.

Meanwhile, it is also expected that Quake II will have major differences from Quake II RTX. The previous version was released in 2019. Although it showcased advanced graphics technology, it lacked an updated campaign and visual improvements.

Talking about the history of Quack II, it was introduced in 1997. Now, the game has been updated with new features that give gamers a seamless experience of modernised visual effects and a better play experience. Moreover, previously the game was introduced as a single-player game. Later, with widening popularity, it changed to a multiplayer game and third-party upgrades like ThreeWave Capture the Flag.

Besides, some avid gamers weren’t as surprised by the debut of Quake II. As the game has already been to countries like South Korea, North America, and Europe. Meanwhile, introducing Quake II will also benefit the gaming company. As the sequence Quake is already popular among gamers and introducing its new part will help build their identity.
