New website is just the first step in The Infamous’s comeback campaign : TheInfamousMag.com
Philadelphia – After more than a year with a limited online presence, The Infamous has just launched its new website, TheInfamousMag.com.
Problems started for The Infamous in December 2011 when the former website was hacked. Soon after, Shaun Baron, the founder, publisher, and art director of The Infamous, was diagnosed with cancer after being admitted to the hospital with a ruptured spleen.
“For those who don’t know, or didn’t have the full story about what’s been going on with The Infamous, I was diagnosed with cancer on January 17, 2012,” said Shaun Baron. “It’s been a rough struggle for me that has included months spent in the hospital. I want to thank everyone who has helped me and my family throughout this whole battle, people who have helped with all kinds of support, with organizing benefits, and for all the love that people have shown me.”
“The Infamous is never far from my mind, and I always thought about the magazine, every day, and I can’t wait to recover fully and start making magazines again,” said Baron. “I love everybody for their support of myself and of the magazine, from those who have been supporting us from day one, through each of our issues, and those whose positive thoughts and actions have helped me through this tough time. Thank you for being a part of The Infamous and helping to make it a great representative of the culture.”
“I hope everybody enjoys our new website,” says Baron. “We’re back.”
