When I was younger, there were a few things that were always around my home. Most of them, I never really appreciated at the time but they make you feel that you're 'home'. One of those things that was always in my sister and my bathroom as children was a small bar of Dove soap. It had it's own little spot in our tub that we used to love to use to stay clean after a long day of playing outside, attending our after school activities or just needing to unwind. It always smelled clean, refreshing and comforting.
Now, at the age of 31 with two children of my own, I use Dove for my kids to enjoy just like their Mom. I've used a variety of different brands on my kids, most of time not realizing that what I used really does affect their skin, especially my sweet youngest Landon. He has super sensitive skin so I try to be as selective as possible.

I actually enjoy using it a bit myself and gentle rub it into my skin. It's not overpowering but rather comforting - as if you were snuggling and smelling your sweet babies when they were first born. I mean, who truly doesn't love that rich intoxicating smell?

They have such a special bond together and he loves interacting, laughing and coming up with some hilarious stories while he gets her ready for bed.
Of course with Landon, he can't really talk back yet being only 8 months old but I know he loves the feel and smell of the lotion because his smile could not be bigger! I know looking back on these moments in a few years will be priceless because it's so short lived. My babies will soon become toddlers, teenagers and then adults! It goes too fast or as everyone says, that you blink and they are grown!I might not get everything right as a Mom and I'm learning every day on how to be the best parent I can be. I'm so thankful to have such a caring husband who also helps in so many ways, especially when it comes to this difficult job. I know they'll be days I want to do a do over but there are also moments that I wouldn't trade for the world- especially when it's following my heart. Of course, an always easy decision for my children's skincare is having the confidence to use products like Baby Dove. After all, don't Mom's always know best?
