Verdict on The Immaculate Room
The Immaculate Room is a thriller that sees a couple put to the test by agreeing to stay in a room for 50 days for a prize of $5 million. This ends up seeing their relationship stretch as they figure out whether they can make it through the challenge.
The movie does follow many of the traditional experimental-styled movies. Seeing if people can stay in a contained room for an extended amount of time. It shows how far people would go, while adding a few surprises along the way. However, this fails to add anything new to the style of film, going through the same trends we have seen before. The performances are strong, and while the room does feel more unique, it doesn’t feel like much is going on with what is being done.
Final Thoughts – The Immaculate Room is a by-the-books thriller.
