If you're looking for a smart speaker in the market and prefer the Google ecosystem to Amazon's, this is a pretty sweet deal. For a limited time and while supplies last, Daily Steals has them iHome iGV1 Integrated Night Speaker System from Google Assistant for $ 56.99 if you apply the promo code CNETIHM at checkout. In 2018, when this first came on the market, it was sold for $ 140.
Although iHome markets this as a bedside device, this is actually not its strength. Like Andrew Gebhart of CNET in his iHome iGV1 review (and numerous users have repeated in their own reviews), the clock display is distractingly bright even at the lowest setting. That may be okay for you, but it is definitely something you should know.
Instead, I say put this baby on a side table, in the kitchen, or anywhere else that a watch might be welcome. Or just ignore the clock completely (the display can be turned off) and use it as a direct Google Assistant speaker that sounds much bigger and better than, for example, the one Echo dot with clock.
In terms of sound, Gebhart noted that the iGV1's microphones did an excellent job even when the door was closed, and that the audio quality matched that of the full-size Google Home. In the meantime, the speaker achieved a respectable 4.4-star average rating from Amazon customersDespite the over-brightness display.
I think a mid-sized smart speaker at this price is definitely worth a look.

Make no mistake, this is a big, stupid thing to put around your neck. People will laugh at you. And then you will laugh at them for staying nice and cool.
But it's not that hard to be uncomfortable, and you can adjust the soft, flexible band and fans so that the airflow flows exactly where you want it to be. The fans are charged independently via USB and can be operated for up to four hours at the lower of the two speed settings.
There are similar products that are roughly the same price, but they have hard plastic collars and don't let the fans take off. This is a great little item; brilliant, practical and super cheap.
