The HTC One V now available for RM599
The once best selling mid-range smartphone HTC One V is now available for RM599 from an online store – Seven Mobile Trading. The device is however still sold for RM999 at Lazada and RM628 at Lelong. When the phone was introduced in the market in April last year, the list price was RM999 and if you minus that to the cheapest selling price available now, you will get a saving of RM400, impressive! With RM599 you will get a phone powered by a 1GHz processor, 3.7″ 16M color capacitive touchscreen with WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels), 5 MP autofocus camera, 512GB of RAM, internal storage of 4GB and external memory can be expanded through a microSD up to 32GB, it is also loaded with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
My Opinion
A great phone for a budget price, however, please check on the authenticity of the phone or the retailer. Perhaps you may want to shop around your local store if it is available cheaper than the price above. The HTC One V is best for first time buyer of a smartphone, or those who want to upgrade from a dumb phone (basic phone), or for anybody who want to own a smartphone but are really tight on the budget and finally for those who want to buy a cheap second phone. On my earlier post about the phone, the price was still at RM639 sold at Lelong, with the price now at RM599 the phone has become more affordable than ever.
