Verdict on The Haunting in Hollywood

The Haunting in Hollywood is a horror story that follows three friends who head to the Hollywood sign to make a movie. However, one has other motivations for going, which takes them down a dark rabbit hole of nightmares in the dark.

This movie dives into wanting to know answers after a tragic loss haunts a young man. He has searched for answers and this journey is his attempt to find them. However, it finds them getting caught up in a wild acid trip of paranoia in the dark. There are a lot of themes about not dealing with grief and people battling to accept it. Sadly, it struggles to have the impact it wants to, leaving us without enough of the haunting it suggests we will be getting.

Where to Watch

Final ThoughtsThe Haunting in Hollywood has strong themes, but struggles to engage them.
