The Hackesche Höfe, BERLIN

During a very cold trip to Berlin a few years ago we visited the Street Ally in Hackescher Market. Hackescher Market in Berlin is full of alleys leading to an array of interesting things to see and do but the one I found most intriguing was The Hackesche Höfe, by the side of the Cinema Café. The courtyard is filled with street art and doors leading to exhibition spaces, cafes, and bookshops.  It was a really cool spot that I could have spent at least an hour taking in all of the street art. Everywhere you looked was something interesting, powerful, and/or memorable. It isn’t a long walk but if you find yourself in Berlin I highly recommend a visit.
