Hello Friends! Tis the season for holiday parties! I'm sharing my dressing room diaries {aka bathroom selfies} during my quest to find the perfect jumpsuit to go with a fringe Rachel Zoe jacket which I received for doing a fun fashion show at TOOTSIES! I did some major online ordering after the littles were asleep, and I'm giving you the quick rundown of each piece and what I kept! (Yes, I know I'm supposed to be shopping my closet - WORKING ON IT!) Can you guess which was the winner?

Honestly, I had a hard time deciding which pieces were hits and misses because anything with shine, sequin, or sparkles is a winner in my book! #MoreIsMore In all posts, I am wearing these PHENOMENAL rhinestone sandals which are so comfy and SO FUN if you are on the hunt for a holiday shoe!

(Apologies for the dirty mirror!)

The Goldilocks of Holiday Jumpsuits {& a few Dresses}The Goldilocks of Holiday Jumpsuits {& a few Dresses}First up is this metallic jumpsuit ($69). I was thinking METALLICS because it's so fun to be sparkly, and sparkle matches sparkle right? I ordered 2 sizes because of my long torso which can make jumpsuit sizing a little tricky sometimes. I'm wearing size MED in this picture, but decided to keep the small.

It's made of a stretchy metallic material, unlined, and very easy to pull on. It's bra friendly too which is always a PLUS for holiday outfits!

Even though it was so-so with the jacket, I'm keeping it! Mr.S saw it on me and said, "That's SO YOU!" LOL! I think it will be fabulous with a white, black, or grey fuzzy jacket for a night out!

Next up is this fabulous silver sequin mini dress ($75)! I love the asymmetrical shoulders but that makes is strapless bra friendly, and it is a MINI dress! It reminds me of something that would be worn during the disco era! The material is actually little metallic squares and NOT sewn on sequins which makes is super lightweight.

It wasn't so great with the fringe jacket, so I paired it with a bright pink faux fur jacket (from my fave Tarjay) for a fun look! Again, this is one that I want to keep bc it's so awesome but there is no need for me to have a million sparkly pieces. Is there??!!!!

As they said, the third time is the charm and this bronze metallic jumpsuit ($103) was the winner for the Rachel Zoe fringe jacket! This is another stretchy material, unlined, jumpsuit which is possibly strapless bra friendly. I used Nippies to wear with the jumpsuit, so this may not be the best option for some of my larger chested friends. (I did find this supportive silicone bra but I dont' know how well it works!) I got it during Cyber Monday ( mentioned here)!

It's a wide leg which looks phenomenal on most, and it comes with a thin rope belt which could be traded out with something else to change the look! I wore this with Zoe by Rachel Zoe platform heels (look exactly likes her designer line but not the same cost) so I didn't have to hem it!

You can't go wrong with black and I ordered two black jumpsuits with the first one being this deep v-neck lace jumpsuit ($69). It definitely works with the jacket and is gorgeous on its own. I took off my bra for this one and Nippies would do the trick. Again, that may be difficult for some of my larger chested friends who need more support.

It has a straight tapered pant leg which is pretty classic. There is a hidden back zipper, and I did have some trouble getting into the jumpsuit because I got confused with all the straps! LOL! Overall, this is a great black jumpsuit that's a little sexy because of the deep v-neck that you'd be able to wear year round.

This next black jumpsuit ($148) is a twist on a classic with the ruffled leg! I thought it could be fun with the fringe jacket but it was too much! It would be great on its own. It would be strapless bra friendly, has a hidden side zipper, elastic waist, and adjustable tie belt. I think this was my least favorite ON ME out of all of them because it makes me look bulkier on the bottom. A smaller size could have helped. I ordered size SMALL for reference.

I couldn't WAIT to get this metallic silver dress in the delivery ($119) but was disappointed when it arrived. Although this is bra-friendly, it's a very thin material and honestly felt cheap. I love the actual design of the dress (reminds me of an Isabel Marant dress that I'm obsessed with), but sadly it's going back. I ordered this in size small, but I could have gone down a size.

Last but not least is this gorgeous velvet jumpsuit ($148) which is available in silver and pink. It arrived later than my other pieces but works for the fringe jacket. I love the juxtaposition of the velvet and metallic. This is strapless bra-friendly with adjustable shoulder straps and pockets (LOVE), hidden side zipper, and hangs SO BEAUTIFULLY! Just for fun, I threw a burgundy fur jacket over it and loved the color combo.

I kept it and wore it for a Ballet Fashion Show luncheon and went ALL IN with the pink by wearing a pink fur jacket! Even though I'd been looking forward to the event for awhile, it's been so busy that I didn't have time to really prepare (if that makes sense). I share my trick for "GLAM in 60 seconds" on Instagram! Basically, I pulled my hair back (no time to curl it), grabbed statement earrings (duh!), wore the jumpsuit (didn't shave), threw on pumps (only had polish left on my big toes), and top it off with that crazy jacket (why not)!!!

So which jumpsuit is your favorite and how would you wear it??

Happy Friday Friends! This post was meant for Monday, but it just didn't happen. I really want to make these blog posts helpful and if you want any questions answered, then please comment, text, or email me! THANK YOU always for taking time to stop and visit my little part of the internet. You may have noticed that my posts are regularly irregular, and I would like to explain. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the blog with my heart, but a lot of family and home things are taking priority lately.

I've been listening to the Rachel Hollis RISE podcast, and something she said about goals really resonated with me. Which would have more impact - throwing a bunch of pebbles OR throwing a boulder in a pond? Basically, focus on ONE thing and really do it then move onto the next thing. I've been trying to concentrate on SO MANY things (lots of pebbles) and it feels like there is no progress!

Anyhow, I digress. We are headed to holiday parties this weekend and next for Mr. S's work! I'm still in the midst of organizing!! Hope y'all have a fabulous weekend!

Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS! I truly appreciate it!
