Verdict on The Girl in the Trunk

The Girl in the Trunk is a horror thriller following a woman who gets kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a car. She must figure out who the kidnapper is and what they want. However, any help she wants comes from a list she is trying to escape from.

This movie takes the contained in a tight location and tries to do something different with it. It does work to make things more complicated for what is going on. However, it also gets caught up in trying to do too much. It leaves a lot of questions left unanswered as it never seems to commit to one direction. The movie tends to spend more time on Amanda needing to understand what she wants in life, rather than escaping her kidnapper.
