The Girl Boss Gift Guide.

Let the gifting continue…
Oh ho (ho ho) is this a bumper gift guide or what.
For the Girl Boss in your life (a.k.a. every female you know), this post is bound to tide you over when it comes to nailing the perfect festive gift. My friendship groups are super scattered and each little pool have their own separate interests. It’s kind of a given considering how unique and amazing each of my girls are but it also means that gift giving requires just a little extra thought to make sure I’ve not missed anybody out. I also have a habit of preparing mini hampers for my friends (have I managed to convince you to please-be-my-friend-I-have-none yet?!).
Here are my top picks for this year’s gift guide for her…
The Girl Boss Gift Guide.

(Hedgehog Necklace, £45, Tatty Devine;
Alphabet Chain Necklace, £220, Chloé;
ASOS Cat Velvet Crossbody Bag, £18, ASOS;
ASOS Metallic Leather Crossbody Bag, £22, ASOS;
Shiny Crossbody Bag, £17.99, Zara;
Bekcsöndergaard Fine Summer Scarf, £26, Bekcsöndergaard;
Twin pack of velvet chokers, £15.99, Zara;
Bumblebee Embroidery Bucket Bag, £29.99, Zara.)

For the sartorially savvy, Christmas is a brilliant way to earn yourself some brownie points and go a little luxury. Depending on your budget, something as luxe as Chloé’s Alphabet Chain Necklace (£220 for two initials) or mid-range like Tatty Devine’s Hedgehog Necklace (£45) is a wonderful keepsake. I think a piece of thoughtful jewelry totally goes a long way - so many of my friends rarely think of treating themselves to something as frivolous as jewelry. It’s no secret at all that I’m a huge handbag girl… Now I’m not about to suggest that you splash out £2k on a Chanel number for your best friend, but how about this truly adorable ASOS Cat Velvet Crossbody Bag (£18) or the kick-ass ASOS Metallic Leather Crossbody Bag (£22)? Both fun options that won’t break the bank and she’ll feel pretty special in come Boxing Day shenanigans! I don’t think my Save The Bumblebees spiel ever made it onto the blog this summer but, guys, I became a huge bumblebee activist earlier this year when my boyfriend started telling me about them. This bucket bag from Zara (£29.99) is now firmly on my own Christmas list. It’s a darling little velvet bag with bumblebee embroidery and beading and I JUST NEED IT RIGHT NOW.
Something a little more practical for the winter is a scarf and I’m a HUGE advocate of Becksondergaard. Perfect for girls who love their Scandi aesthetic and vibes, the Bekcsöndergaard Fine Summer Scarf (£26) is beautifully made from pure cotton and scattered in star prints. I wear my red one ALL the time. A great stocking filler or Secret Santa option is this twin pack of velvet chokers from Zara (£15.99). That trend certainly isn’t going anywhere and these ones are trimmed with a delicate little star detail. Adorable!

(Marc Jacobs Eye-Con Eyeshadow Palette, £45, John Lewis;
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, £56, Feelunique.com;
Diptyque Baies Candle, £20, Selfridges.)

You can’t go wrong with a little beauty at Christmas. Seven beautiful shades combine in the Eye-Con eyeshadow palette by Marc Jacobs (£45) to create the most stunning edit. It’s a bit of a luxury, hence why it’s made it to my own Christmas list this year, but just imagine unwrapping this underneath the tree on the 25th! The hype for this year’s Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit is still raging on, though I’m shunning that this year and gifting one of my beloved girls their Ambient Lighting Palette in Neutral (£56) (https://api.shopstyle.com/action/apiVisitRetailer?id=453733796&pid=uid3041-1789071-95&site=www.shopstyle.co.uk). It’s still pricey but the packaging is classic and the shades beautiful. Hourglass remains one of my favorite brands after assisting with their Hong Kong launch last year and it’s always my pleasure to introduce somebody to them for the very first time! Sophisticated and cool (in both scent and aesthetic!), Diptyque’s Baies candle comes in a teeny tiny size for the gifting season (£20). It’s always such a treat to receive a luxury candle in the winter and this is perhaps one of the greatest options out there!

(Citrus Squeeze Bottle Opener, £8, Anthropologie;
Glitter Alphabet Sticker, £5, Topshop;
Style Tribes, £20, Topshop;
Dreamopedia, £7.99, Topshop;
Miss Etoile Mug, £13.50, Lily Rose Co.;
Rose Gold Dita iPhone 6 Case, £14, Skinny Dip London;
Charbonnel et Walker Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles, £25, Selfridges;
The Bubble Smallest Bottle of Sparkling Wine, £12.99, Selfridges;
Small coffee cup, £7.45, Dave Green Ceramics via Etsy;
Foiled ‘What would Blair Waldorf do?’ Print, £4.90-£9, Lily Rose Co.)

I really like bumping up Christmas presents with little odd tidbits that my friends and family are not likely to discover themselves. Hey, that’s one of the best things about being a blogger! Totally obsessed with this adorable bottle of sparkling wine from The Bubble (£12.99). The little decor is oh so Alice in Wonderland and a little tipple is always great come this time of year, right? The Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles (£25) from Charbonnel et Walker always appear under my Christmas tree… and are always promptly snaffled up by 8pm at the latest. They’re my favorite chocolate ever and I guarantee will earn you some mate/niece/daughter/daughter-in-law points ;) How about a coffee table book for your wordy friend? I flicked through Style Tribes (£20) whilst in a Waterstones the other weekend and found it to be a pared-back version of my favorite Japanese fashion magazine, Vivi. Or Dreamopedia (£7.99), a quirky little A-Z guide of dream deciphering that’ll totally keep you up after hours!
I am always asked about ‘that’ speckled mug that I use as seen on Instagram and Snapchat and so I thought I’d include it in this Gift Guide: it’s by Dave Green Ceramics on Etsy (£7.45) and is just the sweetest thing. They ship worldwide, too! One of our Girl Gang gifting laws is that every girl receives a Glitter Alphabet Sticker (£5) on their birthday. I’m not sure how that happened, it just did. They’re super fun and can be applied to just about any surface! Last but not least, for the interior-loving pal on your gifting list, how about a gorgeous print from Lily Rose Co.? I love supporting fellow bloggers and Abby’s business is one of my personal favourites. Her ‘What would Blair Waldorf do?’ print is available in three different foils and prices begin at £4.90!
Has anything caught your fancy? What are you gifting the women in your life?
