Verdict on The Getback
The Getback is an action comedy following a bounty hunter and his bounty being forced to team up to survive. It follows the pair needing to put their differences aside to survive, as they find themselves struggling to figure out who to trust.
This is a movie that gets good laughs between the two leads, as Theo Rossi brings us a fun character. He shows his nonsense style along with his dry sarcasm throughout the movie. Shane Paul McGhie brings the fast-talking figure to life too. When we get back into the story, we have a story with plenty of different twists to everything unfolding. Where the movie can struggle is with the action sequences, which lack the flashy style they could.
Final Thoughts – The Getback is a fun action comedy with a great duo.
