CONFITURE DE LAIT

Nothing could be simpler to make than this sweet milk jam. Okay, it's 100% calories, but you won't be able to resist it, whether on slices of bread, on pancakes, in cakes or biscuits, or simply straight from the spoon; it's simply divine. Here's the foolproof recipe for this jam, since the only ingredient you need is a can of sweetened condensed milk. Alright, get out your pressure cooker...

CONFITURE DE LAIT

  1. Place the closed cans in the bottom of a pressure cooker.
  2. Cover with water until it's 1cm above the cans.
  3. Close the cooker and count 35 minutes from when the valve starts rotating for large cans, and 25 minutes for small ones. If you don't have a pressure cooker, you can do it in a saucepan for 3 hours (always ensuring that the cans are covered with water).
  4. Remove the cans and let them cool.
  5. You can transfer them into glass jars and refrigerate them. If you're not consuming them immediately, don't open the cans and place them in the fridge; they will keep longer.
