How could I go to Morocco and not get some Argan and essential oils? I find Tip Advisor a pretty good source when looking up places to find and Firdaous Herboristerie is definitely a great shop with high quality products and helpful staff. It took me a while to find it, tucked away in a small shopping mall next to a little hospital so it's not one easily found by tourists! I had gotten side-tracked in the Mellah (Jewish quarter), which was great for spices but not so great for Argan oil as one shop owner sold me over-priced Argan oil, which I only found out later in the day was not even the real thing. The owner and staff at Firdaous Herboristerie were very different to my Mellah shopping experience and it was clear they were honest, well respected and clearly had good quality products that people seek them out for all over the world, given the huge numbers of business cards their customers leave with them. Needless to say my room now smells divine and my skin looks great!
