Verdict on The Exorcist Believer
The Exorcist Believer is a legacy horror movie following two families who find their daughters possessed by the devil. They must understand different beliefs if they are to ever fight back. All while turning to people who have battled evil before.
This is the latest attempt at a legacy sequel of a popular horror movie. David Gordon Green is back after his venture in Halloween which got mixed reviews by the end. This time he took on The Exorcist and left us with one of the weakest horror movies of the year. When it comes to everything going on, we get the basic exorcism material and the jumps scares that feel completely basic. The biggest takeaway from this movie is that it feels dull, nothing much happens and the characters are not interesting. There is one scene attempting to bring a shocking moment that ends up feeling comical more than anything else.
Final Thoughts – The Exorcist Believer is dull, lifeless and boring.
