The Exit has been on my TBR list for years and I actually forgot I even had a copy. I really enjoyed this book. The POV (point of view) is split between Rose and Catherine. Rose's chapters also have flashbacks or memories of a tragic event that happened when she was 10. Rose believes something sinister is happening in the care home but her concerns are dismissed because she has dementia. Catherine starts to believe her when her dying mother becomes a resident. I liked the fact the dark secret of the care home is not revealed until much later, forcing you to keep reading. I really enjoyed this.
