The Atheist Pig highlights an excuse that christians love to use when their god, who is supposed to be all-powerful, allows evil things to happen (in spite of their prayers trying to prevent it). No one, neither atheist nor christian, knows whether god exists or not. But I decided long ago that I could not believe in a god that would intentionally allow (or refuse to stop) evil in this world -- or as in the book of Job, actually be the cause of that evil against a man.
