Another Sunday means a new recap of all the biggest soap news from the past week.
A chat with one of Emmerdale's producers has revealed when Tom and Belle's story could end, while another Hollyoaks departure has been reported.
Elsewhere, there are some big stories coming next week, including the arrival of new Mitchells in EastEnders, and JJ's violence being exposed in Hollyoaks.
Here's our guide to the top talking points, in case you missed the juicy soap gossip:
Emmerdale producer teases the end of Tom and Belle's story
One of the biggest soap stories of the moment is undoubtedly Tom and Belle King's domestic violence plot. This week, Digital spy and other media chatted to Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw about the future of the hard-hitting story, and she revealed when we can expect it to end.
"We said from the beginning that we wanted to tell this story as truthfully and authentically as possible," she said. "For people who experience domestic violence, it is not something that will be over in a few weeks.
"It's something that's been going on for a long time, and we wanted to be honest about that. I think you can expect this storyline to run until the end of this year."
Meanwhile, James Chase, who plays Tom, also spoke about how he thinks the story should end, agreeing that his character should be punished in the end.
"I think the viewer needs that," he said. "After seeing Belle go through it, we need to see her win in the end, or at least him losing."
Emmerdale's Tom is electrocuted
Speaking of Tom and Belle, Emmerdale has teased some huge developments in their riveting story which will air on TV next week.
This week, Belle decided to terminate her pregnancy, but told Tom she had suffered a miscarriage.
In the coming scenes, Tom finds out that Belle has secretly visited the abortion clinic, and in his angry state he destroys a nearby shed. But he goes too far and electrocutes himself before losing consciousness.
This is a new twist in a story currently gripping the nation, with viewers waiting for Tom to get his comeuppance. But what will happen next?
Another exit from Hollyoaks was reported
There was some sad news for Hollyoaks fans this week as insiders reported that Matthew James Bailey would be leaving the role of Ethan Williams after three years.
Although it was reported that he will not be killed off, it is a devastating blow to fans of the popular character, who is perhaps best known for his previous relationship with Sienna Blake.
These reports aren't all that surprising at this point as this is just the latest in a series of exits at Hollyoaks, many of which are linked to the move to just three weekly episodes from September, leading to a reduction in both the cast and crew. .
The show has an intriguing time jump planned when September rolls around, which is a chance to make the most of the cuts and do something really interesting with the soap format. But it's a shame that we don't get to see the true potential of some popular characters, like Ethan.
JJ from Hollyoaks is discovered
Another incredibly harsh soap storyline currently airing is JJ's sexual abuse of his sister Frankie in Hollyoaks. This is a very difficult subject, but the show has sensitively portrayed the story, and Isabelle Smith and Ryan Mulvey have given excellent performances throughout.
The latest batch of spoilers for next week's episodes reveal that as Frankie continues to recover from her accident in the hospital, Oscar uses her laptop for homework and comes across the video of JJ attacking his sister.
But JJ catches Oscar watching the footage and, desperate for the truth to be kept secret, threatens him not to tell anyone what he saw.
In later scenes, Frankie will admit to Oscar that she is afraid of JJ, and warn him that he should be too. Are we closer to JJ facing the consequences of his horrific abuse and Frankie's ordeal being over?
EastEnders' Teddy Mitchell teases trouble
The big news earlier this month was that three new Mitchells would be joining EastEnders as Stevie's secret family.
But now their first appearance has arrived and next week Stevie's son Teddy, as well as Teddy's own sons Harry and Barney, will be in Albert Square looking for Stevie - after he ends up in hospital.
Roland Manookian, who plays Teddy, has teased that the three new characters will bring some drama to Walford, including for Billy and Phil.
"Teddy is a good all-round character to play because he's a very strong-willed man. There aren't many chinks in his armor, and he's a man of charm, but he's also quite humble," said the actor .
'I have a sneaking suspicion that Teddy is going to cause a lot of trouble, which I'm really looking forward to. A lot of mischief!'
Coronation Street reveals Gemma's arrest
Things haven't been easy for Gemma Winter-Brown lately. She has had to come to terms with her twin brother Paul's progressive motor neurone disease, and she and Chesney have had serious money problems, especially since their boiler broke down.
New Coronation Street spoilers for next week show things will get even worse, with Gemma receiving a parking fine before realizing her daughter Carys needs new school shoes.
Alarmed by the price of the shoes, Gemma takes a risk and flees the store without paying for them, leaving Bernie suspicious of how she can afford this new purchase.
But Gemma is later arrested and Bernie is forced to ask Kit for help, even though Gemma is still unaware that he is her long-lost brother. How long will Bernie keep this family secret?
