This is my first time reading the author. I really enjoyed this collection. The photography and artwork inside the collection made it stand out. Some of the images are really beautiful and enhance the depth and meaning of the poems. The poems deal with similar themes but are all very different. I enjoyed every one of them. I love poetry and write a lot myself. I have very specific tastes in poetry I like. The poems in The Elements Between Us are the kind I enjoy the most, intense, emotional and striking. This is a great collection. Highly recommended.
