Story: The Drone starts when a serial killer operating a drone is killed, but connected to the drone he terrorised people with. Newlywed couple Rachel (Essoe) and Chris (Brotherton) find the drone and it isn’t long before the drone start causing problems for the couple in their home.
As the two find their lives turning into a nightmare. They must fight back against the drone, which has continued to kill from beyond the grave.
Thoughts on The Drone
The Drone is a horror comedy that will see a couple coming under attack from a drone powered by the deceased killer. In the similar vein to Chucky. This movie does seem to get caught up in the middle of wanting to be serious or full-blown comedy. Which will end up getting laughs, that don’t feel as smooth as they could be.
It will work out having fun with everything we see unfold. Ending up giving us a unique look at a killer device. The strangest part of the film is how the story unfolds. As not everything seems to be connected with what we are led to see. This is a film that you can’t take seriously, with the subject and tone. Which is helped with the performances in the film. The film will have a couple of fun kills with the drone involvement, which will get to use the unique side to things available.
