The domain name that made international news, KanyeForPresident.com has gone up for sale on Flippa.com
Back in August at the MTV Video awards Kanye West announced he will be running for President of the United States in 2020.
A 24-year-old Tramal Ferguson of Marietta, Georgia registered the domain name KanyeForPresident.com “on a whim back in April 2015” and reportedly turned down offers as high as $80,000, shortly after Mr. West’s announcement.
Now the domain is at auction on Flippa.com.
The auction which has only a day to go has a high bid of just $2,050 and has not hit reserve far short of the reported $80,000 offer.
The good news for Mr. Ferguson is that we are still waiting for the election of the next President in 2016, we he has a few years to sell the domain. Personally I would have taken the $80K. Thanks to Domainshane.com who pointed this domain out in his daily domain picks today.
