Plot: Story centers around a depressed mute serial killer tormented in his house by the ghost of his victims. On the morning he’s set to kill himself he’s visited by a sudden walk-in client in need of a photo shoot.

Story: The Deserving starts when depressed mute serial killer Karter (Gunda) killing his latest victim. However, his depression leads to an unlikely visitor in model Lucy (Stadler), but not everything seems like it adds up. He finds himself tormented by his former victims and trapped in his home.
Karter tries to find a solution to the problems, which sees him diving into his troubled childhood. He has nobody to turn to and the victims are becoming more aggressive in their hauntings.
Verdict on The Deserving
The Deserving is a horror thriller following a mute serial killer being tormented by his former victims. He tries to escape his nightmares but they keep returning to send him a more disturbing message.
This movie dives into the consequences a serial killer would face. It shows what made him and what drove him before turning the tables on him. This is filled with scary moments and is filled with endless jump scares from the different victims. However, the style it is drawn out to create becomes the standout aspect of the movie. it surprises which covers for the overuse of the jump scares. The short runtime helps make the movie a digestible amount of horror, because if we had run long, the movie would have dragged out.
