The Decentral Art Pavilion will debut on April 23, 2022, in the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin, as part of the Venice Biennale, which takes place from May 1 to October 31.
“Singularity” is curated by Florencia S.M. Brück, Javier Krasuk, Diego Lijtmaer, and Simone Furian and designed by David Rodrguez Gimeno. Coldie, Aaron Penne, Justin Aversano, Xcopy, Raphael Lacoste, Trevor Jones, and Michael Yamashita will be among the artists represented.
“Singularity” is a deep dive into decentralized art that aims to educate, engage, and enthral the enthusiast, collector, and general audience. It’s critical to start a discourse about NFTs and how they’re affecting the art industry in a world when so much is changing so rapidly. The first anthology of globally known NFT artworks, this engaging and straightforward presentation is the first of its kind. It showcases the NFT community’s remarkable culture and stimulates creative experiences that will help future generations grasp the societal benefit of digitization.
Robert Alice has created a part of the Decentral Art Pavilion called “0.14” that attempts to demonstrate how the movement that has rattled the art industry began. By looking at some of the most significant early works, viewers are encouraged to learn about the history of NFTs and the pioneers who established them. They may also study about the many sub-genres that arose from the early works in the discipline.
The exhibition, as well as all of its activities, will be streamed live online through the Decentral Art Pavilion Metaverse. Because of its affiliation with Over The Reality, Decentral Art Pavilion may host an Augmented Reality (AR) event. The NFTs will be overlaid over various locations in Venice for participants who utilize the Over The Reality smartphone applications.
Art Blocks, Arianna Grava, AKQA, Fashion, and Music are just a few of the NFT-themed activities that will take place over the next eight weekends at the Decentral Art Pavilion. Different sorts of NFTs will be the focus of these events. In addition, the Decentral Art Pavilion will present “Alternative Spaces,” a series of live dialogues that invites people to think about themes like digital ownership, provenance, and the future of art.
