In February I helped my pal and colleague Andy road-test his London Runs – 5K Guided Running Tours…At #MarbleArch after a successful "dress rehearsal" for Andy's new #LondonRuns #5K guided tours. Great fun! More news soon! #London #fitness pic.twitter.com/76GSEIHehe — London Walks (@londonwalks) February 27, 2017
As you can see from the pic, Andy looks hale and hearty and is even smiling having just guided a 5K run with fascinating live commentary.
I, on the other hand, have the look of a man who has left it too late to start reading Anna Karenina with any feasible chance of finishing it.
Luckily, Andy's the one leading the guided runs. Info on upcoming runs HERE.
In February I was in the minority among TV viewers who enjoyed SS-GB on the BBC.

Lots of complaints from grumpy viewers about the sound. In fairness, many of the complaints were made on Twitter DURING the programme. Maybe the complainers would have enjoyed it more if they'd been PAYING ATTENTION instead of playing with their phones.
Len Deighton's SS-GB is one of my all-time favorite thrillers and I was VERY excited to see the London locations brought to life on screen. It was vividly done, a brilliant job from all concerned in the production department recreating and reimagining our great city.

The tale is an "alternative history" thriller set during WWII. It's 1941. The Battle of Britain has been lost. Churchill has been executed, The King is in The Tower and a resistance movement harries the occupying Nazis at every turn.
I blogged about the original book and the new adaptation HERE .
I also had some fun blogging the locations and making a map for The Daily Constitutional - in this I had some invaluable help from Daily Constitutional reader and Len Deighton expert Edward Milward-Oliver. Thanks again Edward!
Here's the map…
In March I staged a St Patrick's Day Special version of the Rock'n'Roll London tour with LIVE music at the Alley Cat Bar…
Thanks to ALL who joined my @londonwalks Rock'n'Roll #London #StPatricksDay Special today! And thanks to Max at the Alley Cat Bar! pic.twitter.com/WaisjH9Xt3 — Adam Scott (@AdamScottG) March 17, 2017
Max had to get up uncharacteristically early to open the bar for us. It had been many a year since Max had seen the light of Midday!
And also in March, the latest from the Ministry of You Learn Something New Every Day…
Picnic inc some dynamite Kalamata olives from @Tonys_N2 between @londonwalks tours. Turns out pigeons won't eat olive stones #whoknew? pic.twitter.com/MFDgJnMLY7 — Adam Scott (@AdamScottG) March 30, 2017
