For those of us who have been awaiting the official announcement from The CW on whether or not our favorite shows have been renewed, the wait is over. Last year, The CW did early renewals for seven of their shows in January…but this year we’ve had to wait a little longer. The wait was definitely well worth it. Today The CW announced the renewal of ten of their fall shows for the 2018-2019 season.
Supernatural (Season 14)
Jane the Virgin (Season 5)
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Season 4)
Riverdale (Season 3)
Dynasty (Season 2)
Berlanti DCTV Shows
Arrow (Season 7)
The Flash (Season 5)
Supergirl (Season 4)
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 4)
Black Lightning (Season 2)
It is still unclear whether or not this will be the final seasons for Golden Globe winning Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, as it has been hinted by both stars of each respective show. The announcement on renewals or cancellations for The CW’s midseason shows: The 100, iZombie, and Life Sentence…as well as the fall debut Valor will likely come in May.
In addition to the renewals for the 2018-2019, the new fall season will bring an additional day of primetime to The CW on Sunday nights as previously announced.
