The Covid Vaccine

Posted on the 14 August 2022 by Latoya @latoyallawrence

I was one of those people who didn’t want the covid vaccine.

My reason had nothing to do with fear. I am very particular with what I put into my body.

I am not against vaccines in early childhood as I was as well as many others thoroughly vaccinated as a baby/child for measles, mumps and etc….

I refuse to get the flu shot. Out of my forty- seven years I never had the flu. I took that vaccine once nine years ago only because I had to in order to train at a nursing home facility when I professionally began working in healthcare.

Otherwise, I would have never taken the shot.

I left the Healthcare field in 2021 after it became mandatory in certain occupations to get the Covid vaccine.

I got hired with Amazon in September of that same year as the company didn’t require their employees to take the vaccine.

This all changed at the end of the year when the government intervened, demanding that it was mandatory for those working for private companies to get the vaccine also if they wanted to keep their jobs.

Government had the nerve to say they were not forcing anyone to take the vaccine but encouraging them to.

What a bunch of crap!

What do you call threatening people’s jobs?

It is called a manipulation and control tactic!

I was so sick and tired of hearing the lie that those who were not vaccinated were a risk to others which made no sense.

Anyone who never had covid to begin with and that had never been vaccinated weren’t a health threat to anybody.

If anything, others were a risk to our health. If one never had covid, how could they be a danger and give the virus to anyone?

If it didn’t interfere with my employment, I would have never taken the covid vaccine.

I feel the Government and no one else has the right to decide what goes into my body or what I do with my body if I do not approve of it.

Making me and others do things we do not want to do, or would not ordinarily do in order to maintain their financial living goes against our human rights.

Fear can inspire others to act out within the most indecent ways. This is what it was mostly about- fear and control.
