Planning a trip to Salem, Massachusetts? Check out The Cove at Salem- a boutique hotel in Salem, Massachusetts
We received a complimentary stay in exchange for editorial coverage. All opinions are my own.
I’ve been frequenting Salem, Massachusetts for the past three years and can’t get enough of it! It’s the history, the feeling, the people, the food, all of it. It’s something that can’t be explained and one of those places where you need to visit and see for yourself! Salem has a wonderful selection of hotels and accommodations and on our most recent trip, we were able to stay at one of the newly renovated properties, The Cove at Salem.
The Cove at Salem is a modern boutique hotel less than a mile from Salem Common and Salem Witch Museum. It features 57 non-themed and themed rooms-yes, you read that correctly! They offer THEMED rooms (and they’re the only hotel in Salem that offers such a unique experience!) And believe me when I say these wildly immersive themed rooms are amazing and will your experience in Salem unforgettable.
We stayed in the Pirate Suite and audibly gasped when we entered. Every single detail is perfection; a parrot, skeleton, rum barrels, pirate maps, and more. The couch features a queen pullout bed and this space also includes a dining area, coffee bar, refrigerator, and TV. And then we opened the doors to the bedroom and we were blown away! We couldn’t believe we got to actually sleep in a pirate ship! The ship features a queen bed on bottom with a twin bed on top and it feels like you’re on the sea! The lighting on the ship, the neon sign, the vines, and flooring created the most perfect atmosphere and the ultimate experience.
Some of the other themed rooms include Ice Castle, Haunted Circus, Witches Cottage and more!
We were traveling with our family of 5 and the suite provided us with ample space and amenities. On top of the room being absolutely amazing, the Clubhouse is two-stories and features a workbar, lounge, and game room. You can also spend time outside on the 2500 sq foot patio in the communal area; sit by the fire pits, relax in the cozy swings, or even use the grills for a BBQ!
Parking can sometimes be a challenge in Salem and the Cove at Salem offers free parking with your reservation. If you are okay with walking, the walk is totally doable into the downtown area but you can also take advantage of the Salem Skipper ($2 per person per ride) or other ride share options.
Be sure to check out their website and book your next stay at The Cove at Salem! And don’t forget to check out Destination Salem to plan your itinerary!
