The Countess Is Officially Back On The Market
The latest pupil of the Kim Kardashian Skewl of Short-Lived Marriages has graduated and is back on the loose.
LuAnn de Lesseps and Tom D’Agostino have officially finalized their divorce after only getting married on December 31 of last year. People says the documents were settled on September 18. Because The Real Housewives of New York City are now the face of disaster relief, LuAnn is busy down in Florida working with the Red Cross to help the recovery effort after Hurricane Irma.

Of course, People slid past that and asked Lu about her rocky road of a relationship, and she gave a few details:
“It’s what we both decided upon in the end, and even though we decided that, it’s sad. It’s an end to something that was so, so incredible. And I just, I’ve got a lot of emotions. I don’t even know what to say. I mean, it’s sad. It’s sad for me, but I’m putting myself to work, keeping myself busy, and trying to move past it and move on to the next chapter of my life.”
When asked for comment, Tom said he was too busy trying to make it to Hooters for dollar pitchers and ten cent wings to talk. Kidding! He says it’s about as friendly as one can expect:
“We’re not hanging out, but we’re on friendly terms, let’s put it that way. We wanted it to be amicable, and that’s how we live our lives.”
Lu hangs around people who throw prosthetic legs around willy nilly a dinner party, so I think Tom got off pretty easy in the drama department, all things considered.
