Christmas season at Porto City Hall

Behold: the 2015 edition of the Porto City Christmas tree. I didn’t take any photos of the 2014 Christmas tree so I can’t compare it (the whole display along Avenida dos Aliados was disappointing last year), but I would say the 2015 tree is an improvement over the 2013 edition.

What these photos are missing is the close-up of the light installations in Praça General Humberto Delgado, beside the Christmas tree and in front of City Hall. If you look between the people in the right foreground, you can see some of it. But I had no energy left by that point to photograph much more — I’d been taking care of Ice while Paulo attended a Christmas workshop and my cold symptoms were telling me it was time to go. I’m hoping to get better enough to have one more crack at shooting the lights later this week. Let’s see!
