The Chatter House, Nehru Place, New Delhi

The Chatter House at Epicuria Mall, below Nehru Place Metro Station, New Delhi is a modern British gastropub. The place is covered with wooden floor and ceilings which gives it a rustic vintage look. There is even a Foosball table to complete the experience of a Pub. The place houses some amazing food and drinks. The in-house DJ plays amazing tracks and a screen displays major sports events. A perfect place to enjoy with friends and colleagues. Special mention needs to be given to the staff, who are very friendly and warm.

The place has outdoor sitting as well and one can spot the wood oven where Pizza’s are made. We made ourselves comfortable in one of the sofas. The Chatter House recently launched their new menu and we tried a few items from it.

Drinks:-

Virgin Mojito – A perfect blend of sweet and sour. The fresh mint made all the difference. 9/10

Amrood Chaat –Guava Juice with Spicy Tobasco sauce and salt on the rim. 8/10

Watermelon Cooler – Refreshing drink based out of watermelon, lime and fresh mint. 9/10

Strawberry and Orange Cooler – Colorful drink with strawberry syrup on the bottom and orange juice on top. 8/10

Appetizers:-

Bruschetta with Cherry Tomatoes – Item based out of garlic, basil and Stewed Cherry Tomato on a piece of Bruchetta topped with a slice of cheddar cheese. 7/10

Shammi Vegetable Sliders – Amazing half sliders with onions and shammi tikki in between. The shammi just melted in the mouth. 8/10

Vegetable and Cheese Toastadas – Crunchy Tortilla topped with Veggies, Cheese and Sour Cream. 7/10

Main Course:-

Herb Marinated Vegetarian Wood Fired Pizzas – Thin crust Pizza with babycorn, olives, mushrooms, capsicum and other vegetables baked over wood fire. The taste of wooden oven pizza is just different! 8/10

Shiitake Mushroom Risotto – Creamy mushroom Risotto, cooked to perfection. The taste of the Shiitake Mushroom was subtle yet amazing. 9/10

Spaghetti Mixed Sauce Pasta – Spaghetti based mixed sauce (arrabiata + alfredo) pasta with exotic vegetables. The quantity of this dish is enough for two. 8/10

Desserts:-

Tiramisu with Espresso Shot and homemade Biscuity – Slice of Tiramisu cake with a homemade Biscuit that just melts in your mouth. The biscuity is as light as air! 8/10

Gooey Chocolate Cake with Coffee Icecream – As the name suggests chocolate brownie cake layer on top of gooey chocolate cake layer served with homemade coffee ice-cream. 7/10
