What a difference a few days can make in politics! Last week, fivethirtyeight.com was saying there was a 59% chance of no one getting a majority of pledged delegates in the Democratic race for the presidential nomination. But they gave Bernie Sanders a 27% chance and Joe Biden a 14% chance of getting a majority.
This week they still think it's unlikely anyone will get a majority of pledged delegates. They see a 61% chance of there being a brokered convention. But the numbers for Biden and Sanders have radically changed. Now they see Biden having a 31% chance of getting a majority, while Sanders has only an 8% chance.
The events of the last weeks have really shaken up the race!
