There is a small valley just north of Healdsburg, CA that I love. With the ever popular Napa and Sonoma Valleys close by, Alexander Valley often can be overlooked. With Mount St. Helena high in the distance, and the Russian river that runs through, Alexander Valley is the native home to two American tribes: the Wappo and Pomo people. In the now extinct Wappo language, this area is known as Unutsawaholmanoma, or "The bush berry place".

Mixing patterns is so much fun for me. Polka dots and florals might just be my favorite combination. I find that adding a couple of brightly colored accessories, such as shoes and a handbag complete the outfit in a fun and playful way (as opposed to say, black shoes and a black handbag).I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
