So, we've returned. It's been nearly a year since my last film review, partly from lack of disinterest, partly because a variety of other projects have been taking up my time. What can you expect from Groggy after nearly twelve months of indolence?
- As before, this blog will be about 90-95 percent film-related. That doesn't mean, however, that there won't occasionally be articles on television, literature or other topics that interest me.
- That said, I will still give priority to my History column on The Avocado, which means I can't guarantee the old routine of 3-5 articles a week here. Especially if I'm preparing a particularly arduous project.
- These days, I watch a lot of cartoons.
- Not exactly a bold opinion in 2018, but anyway: fuck Donald Trump. I will take shots at him and his criminal outfit, coded or otherwise, whenever appropriate. If you are a Trump supporter and take offense, you are welcome to leave, because I'm not remotely interested in appeasing fascists.
With all that in mind, thank you for anyone who still follows this blog, for some reason. It's great to be back.
