The Bird Cage at Tontine Lane is now open. As mentioned last month on the blog, The Bird Cage pop up is now ready for business. We popped along last night for a look at the menu.
The food and drink pop up is part of the celebrations for the European Championships any excuse for a party in Glasgow!

Mmm something for everyone here with beer can chicken, buttermilk chicken to Pulled chicken bao buns. There's even chicken feet and chicken hearts - for the brave!
Prices start from £6. We'll be back for some of that grub.
There is, of course, a range of drinks
We especially liked the Rubino and tonic, very refreshing.
Music
There will be music as well with the Tontine Elevator Sessions and international and local DJ's at the Tontine Block Party sessions.
Fun
King Putt's Crazy Golf is the the place to try here. Free and designed in collaboration with a number of local artists and community groups across Glasgow. The crazy golf is constructed from the city's recycled rubbish. This is artwork that is fun but to provoke discussion on access, exclusion and our impact on the wider world.
