The Big Moon share 90s boyband-inspired video for ‘Take a Piece’

The Big Moon have shared new single ‘Take a Piece’ ahead of the release of the album ‘Walking Like We Do’ on 10 January via Fiction Records. The four-piece have also announced details of a UK and EU tour in the new year following a support slot to Bombay Bicycle Club.

Directed by Emilie Norenberg, the video for ‘Take a Piece’ finds the band ‘taking props from ’90s boy band fashions’ and showing off impressive dance moves and fashion choices from one of pop music’s glory eras. The song itself finds the band embracing their pop sensibilites with big, danceable beats and melodic keys as Juliette Jackson opens by stating: ‘I hear voices in my head, kind of like a radio DJ, with free rein to spin’. They then throw in irresistible harmonies and pleas of ‘take a piece of me, put me on the pages of your life story’.
