It's official - Fall has arrived! There's a chill in the air and a slew of events to help bring in the month of Thanksgiving. From Project Runway All-Stars to country music legends to Hollywood Stars, we have a slew of big name clubs passing through Big D this month. This month will also kick off the holiday festivities. The Best Events for November 2014

Fashion X Dallas will take place November 6 – 8 at the Fashion Industry Gallery (F.I.G.) in downtown’s Arts District. Design talent on the runway ranges from edgy womenswear designer Emily Daccarett to free spirited swimwear line Curlee Bikini to fresh men's suiting label League of Rebels. In The Gallery, you'll see stunning fine jewelry designs by Laura Pierson and Mitchel Primrose, sumptuous leather handbags by Consuela, global chic footwear by Teysha, and feathered bow ties by Brackish. They've also rounded up the best of local Dallas designers including Ese Azenabor, Nine Muses, Beaus + Ribbons, and Blaine Bowen. Prominent Swedish menswear designer Edo Popken will close the Thursday night Runway shows and Isabella Rose Taylor, 13 year old teen sensation who has just launched a juniors line with Nordstrom, will serve as the finale on Friday night. On Saturday night, fans of Lifetime's hit television show Project Runway have a rare opportunity to watch runway shows presented by fan favorite designers at Designer All Stars Presented By Bernina. With the VIP experience, you can even meet and take photos with the All Star designers: Anthony Ryan Auld, Daniel Esquivel, Jeffrey Sebelia, Korto Momolu, Laura Kathleen, Melissa Fleis, Michelle Lesniak, and Mychael Knight. Stars and Stripes Film Festival 
Thursday, November 6- Sunday, November 9

The four-day festival, being held at Angelika Film Center from November 6th through November 9th, is a rare opportunity to watch movies about the United States Armed Forces and hear real accounts from the filmmakers and Medal of Honor veterans who fought in the battles. The Best Events for November 2014Tim McGraw at NorthPark Center
Saturday, November 8
Join Microsoft for the grand opening of their newest retail location at NorthPark Center, and you could score tickets to see Tim McGraw with special guests The Band Perry live. Free tickets will be distributed to the first 2,500 customers inside the Microsoft retail store on November 8 at 10am. Each person will receive two free tickets to see Tim McGraw.

Fashion Group International of Dallas (FGI Dallas) will host its annual Night of Stars Gala at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 14th at the Fashion Industry Gallery. Zac Posen, internationally celebrated fashion designer and founder of Zac Posen, will be presented with the Career Achievement in Fashion award. Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus Fashion Director, will present the award on behalf of FGI Dallas. Joining Posen on the list of Night of Stars V.I.P.’s will be honorees in the categories of Lifetime Achievement, Career Achievement in Business, Career Achievement in Event Design, and Art Patron of the Year. In the former categories, actress and philanthropist Linda Gray will receive FGI Dallas’ Lifetime Achievement Award. Kim Dawson Agency head Lisa Dawson and celebrated designer Todd Fiscus will be honored with Career Achievement awards in Business and Event Design, respectively. Capping the list, Mary Kay’s Nancy Rogers will be named Art Patron of the Year. Individual tickets are available for purchase as well as a select number of Standard Tables, Runway Tables, three VIP Runway Tables and one ultra-exclusive Platinum Level Table. Chi Omega Christmas Market

The 2014 Chi Omega Christmas Market, themed “Christmas in the City,” marks 37 years of giving and will bring a unique holiday shopping experience to Dallas’ Fair Park. The Chi Omega Christmas Market is a unique shopping experience that offers gifts for every age. More than 10,000 shoppers come to the market each year to shop from more than 165 handpicked vendors from around the country transforming Centennial Hall at Fair Park into a luxury gift marketplace.
Shoppers will enjoy a wide variety of hard-­to-­find items, including jewelry, home décor, women’s fashion, toys, holiday décor, food and drinks, items for entertaining, linens and original art. City Lights kicks off the holidays with a “Holiday Festival” Downtown along Main Street that continues throughout the evening. City Lights marks the lighting of the official Downtown tree and a special arrival from Santa that you won’t want to miss.
