Once again, we have been showered with award ceremonies which have resulted in musicians, actresses and socialites getting dolled up to the nines in a bid to win the best dressed award. This annual competition is almost a formal award in its own right as many celebrities complete to win the affection of their audience. Our favorite celebrities always know how to rock the latest womens designer clothing trends which is proven amongst our favorite style picks from the awards season so far.
The Grammys – Rihanna
Rihanna stole the show at this years Grammy Awards in a stunning floor length dress designed by Azzedine Alaia. The sheer red dress blended into the infamous red carpet and complemented her sun kissed skin. Riri let the gown do the talking and wore her ombre hair in loose curls.
The SAGs – Katrina Bowden
Katrina Bowden looked fantastic at the SAG awards. The actress wore a sleeveless gown by Badgley Mischka from the spring 2013 collection. The stunning dress featured an icy blue sheen, embroidery and an organza fishtail. Katrina kept her makeup simple and swept her long blonde locks to the side.
The BAFTAs – Jennifer Laurence
Jennifer Laurence, the leading actress in Silver Linings Playbook, arrived at the BAFTA’s wearing a Dior Haute Couture gown with a pair of shoes by Jimmy Choo. The stunning actress kept her accessories simple with some chic drop earrings and wore her hair slicked back.
The Golden Globes – Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba made her way to the Golden Globes wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown in coral. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline with a fishtail hem. The flawless actress complements her hair and skin tone in this lovely coral shade.
The Brits – Aluna Francis
Rising musician, Aluna Francis, was nominated for the Critics Choice award at this years Brit Awards. Although she did not win, she did win in the style stakes with a dazzling Theyskens’ Theory dress from the Fall 2012 collection. The gray gown featured a sheer skirt and was highly embellished.
